W3Connect Introduces Advance Shipping Notifications Feature
W3 Applications is pleased to announce the release of a new feature within its W3Connect integration platform: Advance Shipping Notifications (ASN).
The new ASN capability allows businesses to automatically generate and send PDF Advance Shipping Notifications to customers prior to goods being dispatched. This provides customers with early visibility of upcoming deliveries, helping them to better plan receiving, warehouse operations, and onward distribution.
Built directly into the W3Connect platform, the ASN feature can be triggered as part of existing integration workflows between MaxOptra and connected systems such as ERP, accounting, and order management platforms. PDF ASNs can be generated using configurable templates and populated with order, shipment, and customer data, ensuring accurate and consistent documentation.
Key benefits of the new ASN feature include:
-
Automatic generation of PDF Advance Shipping Notifications
-
Delivery of ASNs to customers ahead of shipment
-
Reduced manual administration and paperwork
-
Improved customer communication and transparency
-
Seamless integration with existing W3Connect workflows
The introduction of ASNs further strengthens W3Connect’s position as a flexible middleware platform designed to simplify and automate logistics integrations without the cost and complexity of bespoke development.
The ASN feature is available immediately to W3Connect customers as part of the ongoing platform subscription.
