W3 Applications Delivers Bespoke Two-Way Integration and Portal for Viande Meats

10/08/2025

W3 Applications has successfully delivered a bespoke integration solution for Viande Meats, trading as RP Meats and Blake’s Meats, providing seamless synchronisation between their back-office system (Datos/Season) and MaxOptra.

The project involved the development of two custom synchronisation scripts, along with a secure web-based portal that provides full visibility of transactions and integration activity.

The solution enables:

  • Two-way data synchronisation between Season and MaxOptra

  • Automated creation and updating of delivery orders

  • Order status updates flowing back to Season via scheduled file exchange (EDI-style CSV ingestion)

  • Support for same-day and next-day delivery scenarios

  • A custom company identifier field to distinguish between RP Meats and Blake’s Meats within MaxOptra

  • Synchronisation of multiple delivery time windows

  • Secure portal access to view transactions, sync history and error logs

To support Viande Meats’ dual-brand operation, W3 Applications implemented a custom field within MaxOptra that identifies which business each order belongs to. This ensures accurate tracking, reporting and visibility across both brands while using a single operational platform.

The accompanying portal provides administrators with clear insight into data flows, recent synchronisation activity and any errors, enabling rapid troubleshooting and full operational transparency.

By automating data exchange and removing manual processes, the new solution improves accuracy, reduces operational overhead and provides a scalable foundation for future growth.

This project further demonstrates W3 Applications’ expertise in building bespoke logistics integrations and connecting MaxOptra with specialist industry systems through robust, flexible middleware solutions.
